Curriculum work in the middle years (Years 5-8) focuses on high expectations for students, adolescents and literacy learning, explicit and systematic teaching, and subject-specific language related to the KLA’s of Stage 3 and Stage 4 subject content. Middle Years/ Linkages projects include training & development for teaching staff and students from Years 5-8 and encompass issues and programs that affect successful transition to high school.
