Peter
is deployed across both the Armidale District and the Clarence/Coffs
Harbour District. His main role is to support schools and teachers in
implementing the new Science 7-10 Syllabus and the five new Science
syllabuses in Years 11 and 12. Support
is available, at District, school and individual levels, in writing
programs from the syllabus, developing assessment plans and writing
assessment tasks, reporting, writing NewHSC questions and marking schemes,
and locating suitable resources. Peter also has a role in implementing technology in science teaching including the TILT Plus Science program and advice on implementing data-logging in Science Stage 4-6. Peter is now also the Armidale District KIDMAP contact person. Science
